The Brooklyn Technical High School alumni community is heartbroken by the passing of Monica Myers, a cherished member of the Class of 2004. Monica passed away on March 31st, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, kindness, and impact that will never be forgotten. She was 39 years old.

A proud Technite, Monica’s brilliance shone through in all aspects of her life. She earned her B.S. in Business Management from Stony Brook University and went on to achieve her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her career spanned leadership roles at globally respected institutions including Google, American Express, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she was known for her strategic insight, tireless work ethic, and ability to uplift those around her.

Monica wasn’t just a professional powerhouse—she was a beacon of light to those fortunate enough to know her personally. Her warmth, humility, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She led with grace, stayed grounded in her values, and never stopped advocating for her family, friends, and community.
