The Rush City community is mourning the loss of 69-year-old Martin Zaworski, who tragically passed away following a two-vehicle crash in Isanti County on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
According to authorities, the incident occurred just before 4 p.m. at Highway 65 and 305th Avenue NE in Isanti Township. A northbound Ford F150 crossed over the median and collided with Martin’s southbound Toyota Corolla. He was transported to Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly passed away shortly after.
Martin was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
The community remembers Martin for the life he lived and the connections he made. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all those impacted by this sudden loss.
