The wrestling community and countless loved ones are mourning the loss of Sondra Culbertson, who passed away on April 1, 2025. Sondra was more than the longtime partner and beloved wife of Nick Gage—she was a powerful presence in the world of independent wrestling, a passionate advocate, and a fierce supporter of the GCW/CZW scene and the MDK Gang.
For 26 years, Sondra shared a deep, unwavering bond with Nick, standing beside him through triumphs and challenges alike. Her love extended to their cherished dog, Jelly, who brought endless joy and comfort into their lives.
Sondra lived with heart, spirit, and an unmatched authenticity. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching movies, relaxing at the beach, dancing freely, and getting lost in her favorite music. Known for her humor and unshakeable energy, she lit up every room she walked into and brought comfort to those lucky enough to call her a friend.
She was a woman of conviction, never afraid to raise her voice for others or to stand firm in her beliefs. That courage, coupled with her loyalty and warmth, made her a treasured figure not only in her personal circles but across the broader wrestling community.
Friends and loved ones are invited to honor Sondra’s life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM in The Chapel at Boucher Funeral Home, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 PM.
Sondra Culbertson’s legacy will live on through the lives she touched, the love she shared, and the strength she inspired. Rest in power, Sondra. Forever MDK.
